About Sinoe robiniella (Fitch, 1859)

Sinoe robiniella is a moth species belonging to the family Gelechiidae. It is native to North America, where its recorded distribution ranges from New York westward to Indiana, and southward to Mississippi and Arkansas. This species has a wingspan of 9 to 11.4 mm. In the southern parts of its range, adult Sinoe robiniella are active in flight from late April to September; in the northern parts, adults are active from late May to August. The larvae of Sinoe robiniella feed on Robinia pseudoacacia, Amorpha fruticosa, and various species of Gleditsia.
