About Signigobius biocellatus Hoese & Allen, 1977

Signigobius biocellatus, commonly called the Twin-spot Goby or Crab-eyed Goby, is a species of goby. It is native to the Western Pacific Ocean, where it occurs in lagoons and coastal bays with sand or silt bottoms, near cover such as rubble, coral, or leaf litter. It lives at depths ranging from 1 to 30 metres, which is equal to 0 to 100 feet. This species grows to a maximum length of 7.5 centimetres (3.0 inches) measured along its standard length. It is sold in the aquarium trade, and it is currently the only known member of the genus Signigobius.
