Serruria incrassata, commonly known as the silver-paw spiderhead, is a flowering shrub in the genus Serruria that is part of the fynbos vegetation. This species is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa, where its range extends from Moorreesburg to Klipheuwel near Paarl. The shrub reaches a height of 1.0 meter and blooms from July to October. After a fire, new growth sprouts from the plant's roots. The fruit develops and falls two months after flowering, and ants disperse the plant's seeds by storing them in their nests. Serruria incrassata is unisexual, and pollination is carried out by insects. It grows in granite and heavy shale soils, at elevations between 150 and 330 meters.
