Segestria bavarica C.L.Koch, 1843 is a species of spider belonging to the family Segestriidae. It is found across Europe, Turkey, and the Caucasus region. It has been recorded throughout Europe, with its distribution extending into Turkey and the Caucasus region. The species appears to be relatively uncommon in some areas. In his original 1843 description, Koch noted it was quite rare in Bavaria. Koch reported finding both adults and juveniles of this species under loose stones in rock crevices near limestone formations. In his original observations, however, he was unable to locate the structure of the male's web.
