About Sedum pulchellum Michx.

Sedum pulchellum Michx. is a species of flowering plant in the Crassulaceae family, commonly known by the common names widowscross and widow's cross. This species is native to calcareous regions of the South-Central and Southeastern United States, where it grows on flat rock outcrops, especially cedar glades. The majority of its populations are located in the Interior Low Plateau, and the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains. It produces pink-white flowers in late spring, and is a winter annual that germinates in the fall and dies in the summer.
