About Sedum adolphi Raym.-Hamet
This species, Sedum adolphi, grows up to 20 centimeters tall and produces small, star-shaped white flowers. It is hardy in USDA zone 9 and all regions south of zone 9. It can be propagated from cuttings, leaves, and seeds. Its leaves are evergreen, and will develop red or orange edges when the plant receives enough sun. Sedum adolphi is an easy plant to grow. It prefers exposure to direct sun, and prefers locations with good air flow when temperatures rise above 20°C. It requires very little water during its rest period from November to March, as it can survive on stored humidity reserves for short periods of time. While some other Sedum varieties, like S. morganianum, are toxic to humans and animals, Sedum adolphi is not listed as a toxic species on the ASPCA website.
