Scientific name: Sebacina sparassoidea (Lloyd) P.Roberts. This fungus is commonly called the white coral jelly fungus. Its fruit bodies are made up of multiple erect, coalescing hollow lobes or branches that grow from a single central point. Whole fruit bodies are generally 3 to 20 centimeters in diameter, and 3 to 12 centimeters tall. This species produces a white spore print. Under microscopic observation, its hyphae do not have clamp connections. Its basidia are septate, and its basidiospores are ellipsoid, measuring 9–13 × 6–7 μm.
