About Scythropiodes issikii (Takahashi, 1930)

Scythropiodes issikii (Takahashi, 1930), originally published as Odites issikii, is a species of moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Ryoichi Takahashi in 1930. This species is found in Japan, Korea, China, and Russia. Adults have a wingspan of 14 to 19 mm. Recorded host plants for its larvae include Gardenis jasminioides (noted as potentially being Gardenia jasminoides), Malus pumila, Pyrus simonii, Populus nigra, species from the genus Prunus, species from the genus Salix, Smilax china, Ulmus pavifolia, Viburnum awabuki, and Weigela coreaensis.
