Scythris trivinctella, commonly known as the banded scythris moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Scythrididae. This species is native to North America, where its recorded range extends from New England south to Florida, across the Great Plains states, from Texas west to Arizona, south into Mexico, and also includes Utah, eastern Oregon, and areas as far north as southern British Columbia. The wingspan of adult Scythris trivinctella measures 11 to 12 mm, and the larvae of this moth feed on Amaranthus hybridus.
