Scythris scopolella is a species of moth belonging to the family Scythrididae. Its distribution ranges from the Iberian Peninsula northward to Belgium, and eastward to Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Italy. It is also present in Bulgaria and on the island of Crete. Adult moths fly from May through the end of June, and are active during the daytime. The larvae of this species feed on Tortula muralis, Helianthemum, Hypericum, Sedum, and mosses that grow on walls.
