Scyllarides aequinoctialis (Lund, 1793), commonly called the Spanish slipper lobster, is a species of slipper lobster. It inhabits the western Atlantic Ocean, ranging from South Carolina to São Paulo State, Brazil; its range also includes the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Bermuda. This species can grow up to 30 centimetres (12 inches) in total length, with a carapace that reaches 12 centimetres (4.7 inches) long. S. aequinoctialis is the type species of the genus Scyllarides, and it was the first slipper lobster species to be described from the Western Atlantic.
