Scutellaria parvula Michx., commonly called small skullcap, is a species in the mint family. It is native to eastern and central North America. It is most common in the central states of its range and is rare in the eastern portion of its native range. It grows in open, sunny habitats including prairies, glades, and savannas, and often occurs in calcareous soil. Its flowering period runs from late spring to early summer. The closely related species Scutellaria australis is sometimes classified as a variety of Scutellaria parvula.
