Scutellaria nervosa, commonly called veiny skullcap, is a flowering plant that belongs to the mint family. It is native to the eastern United States, where it grows primarily in the Ohio River drainage region of the Midwest and Upper South. It occurs mainly in alluvial forests, which are often calcareous. It bears tubular white flowers marked with purple dots, which bloom in late spring.
