Scopula cacuminaria, commonly known as the frosted tan wave, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. This species was first officially described by Herbert Knowles Morrison in 1874. Its wingspan measures between 18 and 23 millimetres, which is equal to 0.71 to 0.91 inches. In the region of Alberta, adult individuals of this species are active and on wing during the month of July.
