About Scobinichthys granulatus (White, 1790)

Scobinichthys granulatus, commonly called the rough leatherjacket, is a species of filefish. It is native to the coastal waters of southern Australia, where it inhabits rocky reefs and seagrass beds. This species reaches a total length of up to 30 centimetres, which is 12 inches. It is the only known member of the monotypic genus Scobinichthys.
