About Sciocoris homalonotus Fieber, 1851

Sciocoris homalonotus is a species of shield bug in the family Pentatomidae, subfamily Pentatominae. Adults of this species reach approximately 6 to 7 millimeters in length. It was first formally described by Franz Xaver Fieber in 1851. Compared to Sciocoris microphthalmus Flor, 1860, the apex of its chorion is more rounded. This species can be found across most of Europe.
