This includes the Galápagos Islands, specifically the islands of San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, and Santiago. Its natural habitats range from subtropical to tropical dry forests and moist lowland forests to moist shrubland. It also lives in intermittent freshwater marshes, plantations, rural gardens, urban areas, heavily degraded former forest, ponds, lakes, canals, and ditches.
