Schinia miniana, commonly known as the desert-marigold moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1881. Its distribution spans North America, ranging from California to western Texas, extending north to Colorado and Nevada, and reaching south into Mexico. The wingspan of adult Schinia miniana measures between 19 and 24 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on plants of the genus Baileya.
