About Saurodactylus brosseti Bons & Pasteur, 1957
Saurodactylus brosseti is a species of gecko that belongs to the Sphaerodactylidae family, and it is found in western Morocco. Both this species and Saurodactylus mauritanicus share the common name Morocco lizard-fingered gecko, and the two were previously considered to be the same species. Its natural habitats include temperate forests, rocky areas, arable land, and pastureland. This species is currently threatened by habitat loss. There may be four distinct genetic lineages of Saurodactylus brosseti.
