About Sargocentron tiere (Cuvier, 1829)

Sargocentron tiere, commonly known as the blue-lined squirrelfish, is a species of squirrelfish native to the Indo-Pacific region. This species can sometimes enter the aquarium trade, and reaches a maximum total length of 33 centimetres, or 13 inches. It is specifically distributed around the Hawaiian Islands, and inhabits coral reef margins and outer reef slopes.
