Saproscincus spectabilis, commonly known as the gully shadeskink, is a small lizard that occurs in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. It lives in cool, shaded gullies, where it feeds on small insects. Individuals can also be spotted on sunny rocky outcrops located within these gullies. The species relies on ground cover and rocky cracks to escape predation from birds including kookaburras and pied currawongs.
