The Nosy Komba ground boa, with the scientific name Sanzinia volontany Vences & Glaw, 2004, is a boa species that is endemic to the island of Madagascar. It has a brownish coloration and occurs on the western side of Madagascar. This species was previously classified as the same species as the Madagascar tree boa. Just like all other boas, the Nosy Komba ground boa is not venomous. This species is endemic to Madagascar, and its given type locality is simply "Madagascar".
