The Guianan squirrel monkey (Saimiri sciureus) shows size differences between males and females. Females have a body length between 25 and 34 centimeters (9.8 to 13.4 inches), and a tail length between 36 and 47 centimeters (14 to 19 inches). Males weigh between 550 and 1,400 grams (19 to 49 ounces), while females weigh between 550 and 1,200 grams (19 to 42 ounces). In terms of appearance, this species has a pink face, a black muzzle, and white arches above the eyes. The crown of the head is olive or olive gray. The back fur can be gray, olive, or orange, while the belly is white and the arms are yellow-orange.
