About Sachatamia albomaculata (Taylor, 1949)

Sachatamia albomaculata is a species of frog that belongs to the family Centrolenidae. It can be found in Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, western Colombia, and northwestern Ecuador. Its natural habitats are humid lowland and premontane forest, ranging from sea level up to approximately 1,500 meters (4,900 feet) above sea level. It is typically found in bushes and trees growing along forest streams, though established populations of this species can still persist along streams located in pastures that only have minimal riparian growth. It is a common species. While local populations can face threats from habitat loss, the species as a whole is not currently facing any major threats.
