About Sabulodes aegrotata (Guenée)
Sabulodes aegrotata, commonly known as the omnivorous looper, is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. This species is distributed in northwestern North America, with its range extending south to northern California. The wingspan of adult Sabulodes aegrotata ranges from 35 to 44 mm. Adult moths can be seen in flight throughout the entire year. The larvae of this moth feed on the foliage of many different species of flowering trees and shrubs, including Alnus, Holodiscus discolor, Rubus spectabilis, Salix, and Umbellularia californica.
