Rieppeleon kerstenii (Peters, 1868) is a species of chameleon, a lizard belonging to the family Chamaeleonidae. This species is endemic to East Africa, and it has two recognized subspecies. The geographic range of R. kerstenii covers eastern Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and northeastern Tanzania. It can be found at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 1,500 m (4,900 ft), and it lives in three types of habitats: shrubland, savanna, and forest. R. kerstenii is oviparous, meaning it reproduces by laying eggs. The clutch size of this species can reach up to ten eggs.
