Ribes erythrocarpum Coville & Leiberg is a trailing shrub that grows vertical branches reaching up to 20 centimetres (8 inches) tall. Its leaves are 2.5โ€“5 cm (1โ€“2 in) wide, 3โ€“5 lobed, and have rounded teeth. This species produces copper- or salmon-colored flowers and scarlet, egg-shaped berries. It is similar in appearance to Ribes laxiflorum. This plant is native to the Cascade Mountains in the U.S. state of Oregon, and its native range includes areas within Crater Lake National Park. It grows on rocky sloped terrain in subalpine forests.
