Rhynchospora latifolia, commonly called sandswamp whitetop or tall whitetop sedge, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the sedge family, Cyperaceae. This grass-like plant reaches a height of 1 to 3 feet, and has modified white leaves called bracts that grow at its top. It occurs across most of the southeastern United States.
