Rhynchobatus australiae, described by Whitley in 1939, is a species of fish in the family Rhinidae. It is also commonly known as the white-spotted guitarfish, white-spotted wedgefish, or bottlenose wedgefish. This species occurs in the Indo-Pacific region, ranging from the East African coast and Red Sea to Taiwan, the Philippines, and Australia, and can be found from shallow waters down to at least 60 meters (200 feet) deep. It belongs to a species complex that also includes the giant guitarfish, the broadnose wedgefish, and possibly the smoothnose wedgefish.
