Rhus virens Lindh. ex A.Gray is a species of flowering plant in the Anacardiaceae, the mango family. This species is native to Arizona, southern New Mexico, and Texas in the United States, and also to northern and central Mexico, ranging as far south as Oaxaca. Its common names are evergreen sumac and tobacco sumac.
