Rhus microphylla Engelm., commonly known as littleleaf sumac, desert sumac, correosa, or agritos, is a sumac species belonging to the family Anacardiaceae. This species is native to North America, specifically occurring in the southwestern United States and northern and central Mexico. Its range within the southwestern United States includes central and western Texas, southern New Mexico, and extreme southeastern Arizona in the Madrean Sky Islands. Within Mexico, it grows in the central and northern regions of the Mexican Altiplano, also called the Mexican Plateau.
