The wingspan of R. euryale falls between 30 and 32 centimetres (12 and 13 inches), and its typical weight ranges from 8 to 17.5 grams (0.28 to 0.62 oz). Its upper connecting process is pointed, slightly bent downwards, and distinctly longer than the lower connecting process; when viewed from below, the lower connecting process is broadly rounded. The fur of this species is fluffy with a light grey base. The dorsal fur is grey-brown, sometimes with a faint reddish tinge, while the ventral fur is grey-white or yellow-white.
