The Amur goby, whose scientific name is Rhinogobius similis, is a freshwater goby species. It is native to Japan and China, and has been widely introduced to several central Asian countries. In these introduced regions, it has been reported to have negatively impacted local ecology. This species can grow to a total length of up to 10 centimetres (3.9 inches).
