About Rhinecanthus assasi (Forsskål, 1775)

Rhinecanthus assasi can grow up to 30 centimeters in total length. Its upper body is tan, and its lower body is white, with blue stripes located between and below its eyes. This species feeds primarily on invertebrates. Rhinecanthus assasi inhabits coral reefs and areas adjacent to coral reefs. It is found in the western Indian Ocean, including the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
