Rhexia nuttallii C.W.James, commonly called Nuttall's meadowbeauty, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Melastomataceae family. It is native to the U.S. states of Georgia and Florida. This is a perennial plant that grows to a maximum height of 35 cm, or 14 inches. It grows best in wet habitats, which include pine woodlands, depressions, flatwoods, and areas along pond edges. The species was named to honor Thomas Nuttall.
