About Rhacophorus reinwardtii (Schlegel, 1840)

In terms of morphology, female Rhacophorus reinwardtii grow larger than males, reaching a maximum length of 3.5 inches (8.9 cm). Their base body coloration can be either light green or dark green, with black spots across their backs and heads. Males display additional varied coloration including orange, green, purple, black, and yellow on the sides of their abdomens. Their eye color can be light green, light yellow, or light grey, and they have horizontal pupils.

This species is distributed across China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and may also occur in Brunei and Myanmar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
