About Remiz pendulinus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Remiz pendulinus (Linnaeus, 1758) is a small tit species, measuring 10–11.5 cm (3.9–4.5 in) in total length. It has a finely pointed bill and a relatively long tail. Its head is light grey, with a distinct black "mask" that runs through the eye. Its back is colored chestnut brown. Males and females have very similar overall appearances, but the male of the species has a broader black mask and a more rufous-toned back than the female.
