Ranunculus verticillatus Kirk is a species in the Ranunculus genus. It has green, deeply divided leaves and a yellow flower. This plant is endemic to New Zealand, occurring on both the North Island and South Island. It grows in wet areas, and acts as an indicator species for wetlands. The leaf miner species Phytomyza costata creates leaf mines within its leaves.
