Ranunculus illyricus L. is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae. It is a protected plant in Hungary. This perennial herb grows 15 to 30 cm tall, and can be found growing in pastures and grasslands. The plant is covered in white hairs. Its stem leaves are tri-composite. Its flower petals are yellow and roundish. When the plant is flowering, the flower’s sepal cup bends backward. This species blooms during May and June.
