About Raivuna patruelis (Stål, 1859)
This insect species, Raivuna patruelis, has a dull greenish overall body color, with black eyes. Its palpi and legs are dirty yellowish. The frons, clypeus, thorax, scutellum, and abdomen are yellowish-green; the temples are vitreous, the antennae are brownish-black, the stigma is brown, and the wings are hyaline. Body length ranges from 8.2 to 9.2 mm. The head is small, with the apex of the vertex slightly convex, a convex ocellar triangle, and yellowish-green temples. The thorax is yellowish-green, with paler anterior and lateral margins. The scutellum is slightly convex, marked with parallel transverse grooves. The tegmina are slightly longer than the abdomen lengthwise, and are dirty vitreous, with faintly brownish transverse veins. The legs are dirty yellowish-green. The abdomen is dirty vitreous-yellowish, with a black central disc and broadly yellowish-green margins. This species is widely distributed across Asia. Confirmed distribution areas include South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, southern Pakistan), Southeast Asia (Java, Borneo, Sumatra, Mainland Southeast Asia), and East Asia (China, the Korean Peninsula, and Japan).
