About Quercus microphylla Née
Quercus microphylla Née is a species of oak that typically grows as a shrub. It rarely reaches over 60 centimetres (24 inches) in height, and forms dense mats that can span several meters across. Its leaves are tiny when compared to the leaves of most other species in the Quercus (oak) genus, usually measuring less than 35 millimetres (1+1⁄2 inches) in length.
