About Quercus devia Goldman

Quercus devia Goldman is a species of oak tree in the Fagaceae plant family. This tree is native to northwestern Mexico, and is endemic specifically to the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range, which is part of the Peninsular Ranges system in southern Baja California Sur, a Mexican state. It grows within the Sierra de la Laguna pine-oak forest habitat. It is listed as an endangered species on the IUCN Red List, and is currently threatened by habitat loss. It is classified in the Quercus section Lobatae.
