Quercus chapmanii Sarg. is a shrub or small tree. It occasionally grows up to 6 meters (20 feet) tall, and most individuals are shorter than this maximum height. Its leaves may lack lobes entirely, or may bear wavy, rounded lobes. This species is distributed across the U.S. states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
