Pyrochroa serraticornis, commonly known as the cardinal beetle, is a species of fire-colored beetle that belongs to the family Pyrochroidae. This species is found in Europe. Populations that were previously considered Pyrochroa serraticornis from Germany and Eastern Europe are now classified as the cryptic species Pyrochroa bifoveata, described by Molfini, Mancini & Bologna in 2022.
