Pyrausta dapalis is a species of moth belonging to the family Crambidae. It was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1881. This moth is found in western North America, with confirmed recorded populations in California and Oregon. The forewings of adult individuals measure 7 to 9.5 millimeters in length. Adult Pyrausta dapalis have been observed in flight from early January through March. Larvae of this species have been successfully reared on multiple species of the plant genus Salvia.
