About Pultenaea reticulata Benth.
Pultenaea reticulata Benth. is an erect shrub that usually grows between 0.5 and 2 meters (1 foot 8 inches to 6 feet 7 inches) tall, and it has hairy stems. Its leaves are arranged alternately along the branches, are flat and elliptic, and measure 8โ25 mm (0.31โ0.98 inches) long and 3โ9 mm (0.12โ0.35 inches) wide. Each leaf has stipules at its base and a sharp point at its tip. The flowers of this species are yellow-orange and reddish-brown, are sessile, and have bracteoles attached to the pedicel. The sepals are 7.5โ9 mm (0.30โ0.35 inches) long, the standard petal is 11.5โ13.5 mm (0.45โ0.53 inches) long, the wings are 10โ11.5 mm (0.39โ0.45 inches) long, and the keel is 10.0โ10.5 mm (0.39โ0.41 inches) long. Flowering takes place from August to December, and the fruit is a flattened pod. This pultenaea is most often found in winter-wet locations within the Esperance Plains, Jarrah Forest, Swan Coastal Plain, and Warren biogeographic regions of south-western Western Australia.
