About Ptyodactylus orlovi Nazarov, Melnikov & Melnikova, 2013

Ptyodactylus orlovi can reach a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 8.4 cm (3.3 in), and its tail is slightly shorter than its snout-to-vent length. This species occurs in Oman and the adjacent United Arab Emirates. Its preferred natural habitat is rocky desert areas, found at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 2,500 m (8,200 ft). Ptyodactylus orlovi is oviparous. During summer, adult females can lay a clutch of two eggs in a communal nesting site.
