About Ptisciana seminivea Walker, 1865

The forewings of Ptisciana seminivea are silvery gray with irregular pale fasciation. Darker flecks are only found on the costa. The species' caterpillar is glossy and light grass green. Each segment has a faint yellow spot on the anterior spiracles, and its dorso-lateral tubercles are pale yellow. Pupation takes place inside an oval, tapered cocoon. The pupa is dorso-ventrally flattened and semi-ovoid. The known larval host plant for this species is Macaranga.
