Ptichopus angulatus, with the scientific name Ptichopus angulatus (Percheron, 1835), is a beetle species that belongs to the family Passalidae. It has a wide distribution across Central America and Mexico, and it has also been reported to occur in northern Colombia. This species is associated with the nests of Atta leafcutter ants; all of its life stages develop and live within the detritus found inside these ant nests. Individuals of this species have small, reduced eyes.
