Ptichodis herbarum, commonly called the common ptichodis moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Erebidae. This moth is found in the United States, with confirmed records from the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. It has also been documented in Jamaica. The wingspan of Ptichodis herbarum measures approximately 30 mm. Its larvae feed on bush clover, and may also feed on other Lespedeza species.
